Neiman Marcus says notified 4.6 million customers about data breach, Retail News, ET Retail

Retailer Neiman Marcus Group said on Thursday it had notified about 4.6 million online customers that their personal information including names, contact information and credit card numbers may have been accessed in a data hack.The high-end department store chain said it had notified law enforcement authorities about the breach, which it said happened in May 2020.About 3.1 million payment and virtual gift cards were affected, more than 85% of which were expired or invalid, Neiman Marcus said.The company, which emerged from bankruptcy in September last year, also said it had no evidence that online customer accounts for its Bergdorf Goodman and Horchow units had been affected.

  1. SHINee Key - ‘Bad Love’

On September 27, SHINee Key returned a solo artist his new solo album “BAD LOVE.”

The title song “BAD LOVE” is a combination of various genres such as pop dance, synth-pop, and retro which contains tragic lyrics of being unable to let go despite the “bad love” the main character underwent.

Also, “All-round Cheat” Key’s vocals which delicately express confusing emotions, further doubles the charm of the song.

  1. CL - ‘Lover Like Me’

The “Badass Queen” returned to the music scene on Sept. 29 with her single, “Lover Like Me,” the second track under its full-length album, “ALPHA.”

While the first single “SPICY” was a song that maximized CL’s charm as a rapper and performer, “Lover Like Me” is a song that shows CL’s vocals attractively.

The lyrics tell the story of not being able to meet someone like yourself to a lover who is blind to others.

Meanwhile, CL’s first solo full-length album, “ALPHA,” will be released in October.

  1. TWICE - ‘The Feels’

The fierce competition this October was opened by “Nation’s Girl Group” TWICE with its first full-English track, “The Feels.”

The track was dropped on October 1 and was commemorated with a live broadcast on Twitter Blueroom.

On Oct. 7, the group will also appear on ABC’s daytime news program “GMA3: What You Need To Know.”

On the other hand, “The Feels” is a disco-pop track with a fast tempo. The lyrics are about feeling happy after falling in love at first sight.

  1. ATEEZ - ‘Eternal Sunshine’

ATEEZ released the music video of “Eternal Sunshine” amid enthusiastic expectations from global fans.

On the 4th, ATEEZ dropped their MB for the double title track, “Eternal Sunshine” of its 7th mini-album, “ZERO: FEVER Part 3.”

The released music video begins with a refreshing melody and a warm smile of ATEEZ, giving off bright energy. The members’ happy smiles while meeting each other in an ordinary space capture the beauty of youth resembling the warm sunshine.

Earlier, ATEEZ recorded 660,000 copies for the first time with “Zero: Fever Part 3,” which was released on September 13.

  1. aespa - ‘Savage’

On October 5, “Rookie Monster” aespa released its first mini-album “Savage” and its title track with the same name.

Upon its release, “Savage” rapidly climbed on top of various domestic and international music charts.

Its unique trap genre is centered on drums and bases with a strong sense of attack. One of the most addictive lines in the song, “Zu Zu Zu Zu” also captured listeners’ hearts.

  1. GOT7 Youngjae - ‘Vibin’

On Oct. 5, Youngjae of GOT7 also debuted as a solo artist with his debut album, “COLORS from Ars.”

Youngjae, who was more anticipated as the last solo debut runner of GOT7, took his first step as a solo artist with his first mini-album showing his individual color under another name “Ars.”

Youngjae participated in writing, composing, and producing all the songs of “COLORS from Ars,” which contain a total of seven songs, including the title song “Vibin,” a house beat dance-pop song that depicts the inability to stop falling in love with a lover.

  1. BLACKPINK in Paris Fashion Week

From Sept. 28 to Oct. 5, BLACKPINK members including Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie made the internet a frenzy for their appearances at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week event as luxury brands’ global ambassadors. Jisoo, represented Dior, Rosé for Saint Laurent while Jennie represented Chanel.

Amid the delight of fans for the three members’ stunning appearances, numerous K-pop fans expressed frustrations over YG Entertainment after the agency restricted Lisa from joining Bvlgari’s event while in Paris – due to the coronavirus.
